There is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
The Bible, originally given by God, is the divinely inspired, infallible, and authoritative word of God. The Old and New Testaments comprised together are Holy Scripture.
In the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, in his vicarious and atoning sacrifice through His shed Blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension, and in His personal return in power and glory upon the earth.
The blood of Jesus cleanses us from sin, and salvation is found only through repentance from sin and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”
There are two ordinances which Jesus Christ established for the body Of Christ: Water Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. They are both mentioned in Acts 2:41-42 “So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and that day there were added about three thousand souls. They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” (NASB)
Water Baptism
• It is an act of obedience to the gospel of Jesus Christ when you become a believer. It is to be done in full immersion. It is not needed to be saved, Christ no works.
• We do not believe in infants receiving water baptism. Older children or young adults can receive water baptism when they have come to a full understanding of salvation, and having received Jesus as Lord and Saviour.
• We do believe in infant dedication. We stand alongside with parents and pray over their children, dedicating them to the Lord.
Communion
A communion service is referred to as ‘The Lord’s Supper’, ‘The Lord’s Table” and ‘The Breaking of Bread’, ‘Communion’ or ‘The Eucharist’. Mat 26:26-28: “While they were eating, Jesus took some bread, and after a blessing, He broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, "Take, eat; this is My body." And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He gave it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you; for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for forgiveness of sins.” We do communion in remembrance of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 11:24-25, NASB)
Communion is to be taken in a worthy manner, therefore: a) Before you take communion you must be a born-again believer of Jesus Christ and know you are truly saved. b) We must examine ourselves and come to the Lord’s supper with clean hands and a clean heart (1 Corinthians 11:27-31, NASB)
